title: Rochester Public Schools INCubatoredu Recruits Volunteer Mentors
description: "“It’s the opportunity to create a service or create a product that they can actually go out and get a patent on a product or start their business and they’ll have funding to do so, so it’s real life opportunity in the classroom,” said Brandon Macrafic, Principal on Special Assignment for College and Career Readiness.

INCubatoredu is a national program, and Rochester is the first school district in Minnesota to adopt it."

ROCHESTER, Minn. –  A new program at Rochester Public Schools is turning to local businessmen and women for help with inspiring young entrepreneurs.

It’s called INCubatoredu, and it’s a class open to Juniors and Seniors at all Rochester public high schools.

Organizers held a volunteer rally Tuesday at Collider Coworking to recruit volunteers from the community to serve as mentors and coaches for the program.
