Director of Learning Programs and Student Success

Your Role: Driving Program Excellence and Student Outcomes

As Director of Programs, you will ensure the integrity, delivery and measurable success of our program suite. You will lead the evolution of our innovative programs that align with our mission to inspire students and support schools pursuing entrepreneurial education solutions to transform student learning experiences.

This role suits a strategic, innovative leader experienced in secondary/postsecondary education, ready to support Gen Z’s future readiness. Part strategic thinker, part doer, and part orchestrator with the proven ability to execute with fidelity. You’ll oversee product strategy, team management, program development, and digital delivery, ensuring alignment with organizational goals while refining or retiring underperforming offerings. As a member of the UL leadership team, you will influence overall UL goals and strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

Product Vision & Strategy

  • Define and execute the product vision for Uncharted Learning’s suite of programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and the evolving needs of innovative K–12 schools.

  • Own the program development process and performance, including the product roadmap, lifecycle, and competitive analysis.

  • Monitor and synthesize evolving educational trends and state to national level standards and policy to ensure alignment

Program Development, Management & Evolution

  • Oversee curriculum design and development across all programs

  • Lead the creation and continuous improvement of program content, delivery methods, and digital resources to maintain relevance and effectiveness.

  • Design student opportunities and experiences that bring programs to life and drive measurable student outcomes.

Team Leadership & Accountability

  • Lead, manage, and hold accountable the Programs team, including direct supervision of the Program Managers and contractors.

  • Hire, train, coach, and mentor staff; set clear expectations, provide regular feedback, and develop talent.

  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and high performance with your cross-functional teams.

Partnership Building

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with school administrators, higher-education partners, and entrepreneurship industry leaders to enhance program success and sustainability.

  • Represent Uncharted Learning as a thought leader in entrepreneurship education

  • Represent Uncharted Learning in member-facing forums to support member success and acquisition.

Quality Assurance & Program Fidelity

  • Ensure all programs meet high standards of academic rigor, educational integrity, and industry relevance.

  • Own program fidelity and partner/facilitator satisfaction across the portfolio.

Impact Measurement

  • Collaborate with internal teams to track program outcomes, analyze data, and leverage insights to refine and communicate the impact of our work.

  • Create measurements of student impact

  • Use data to inform decisions about program design, deployment, and investment.

Operations & Budget

  • Develop and manage program operating budgets in partnership with leadership.

  • Plan programs end-to-end, including processes, deadlines, and milestones.

What You Bring:

  • A passion for transforming education and empowering students through entrepreneurship.

  • 10+ years of experience in educational program leadership, curriculum design, team management, and/or product management.

  • Proven ability to lead teams and manage complex, multi-faceted projects.

  • Demonstrated success in developing partnerships with schools, educators, and external stakeholders.

  • Proficiency with experiential or work-based learning models.

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and communicate impact.

  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, adaptable to diverse audiences.

  • A resourceful and agile mindset, ready to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

  • Technical proficiency with tools including, GSuite, Hubspot, and LMS platforms; a quick learner of new technologies.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required; advanced degree in education, business, or related field preferred.

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in educational program leadership, curriculum design, or related fields, with demonstrated team-leadership responsibility.
