The Uncharted Difference
- Authentic
Students learn and practice industry-based skills in a real-world environment (not a simulation) - Experiential
Project-based learning leads to better engagement and deeper learning - Connected
Students will stay connected to the community, industry, and “the what” and “the why” of what they are learning
Empower Students,
Ignite Educators
Uncharted Learning’s approach empowers students, ignites a new flame for educators, and engages entire communities.
Students learn and apply business start-up practices and concepts to projects they’re passionate about. They build, test, learn, apply, and embrace the cycle of experimentation, which is core to entrepreneurship and is a great training ground for life. They get comfortable with failing and learning from failure. Working in teams and being supported by a dynamic mix of teachers, coaches, and mentors, all translates to deeper learning and skill-building.
Gabby E.,“I learned to love making mobile apps. I knew that iOS programming could be my avenue for affecting the world.”

“My app, DIALOG, combines everything I need into one app - as a diabetic...to manage my life.”
A Hersey High School student learned to code, and used this skill to tackle a challenge he faces daily. DIALOG is all you need in one app for diabetics - a database and a calculator and a sugar log - all tools needed to manage a healthy lifestyle (when eating out at restaurants) for type 1 and 2 diabetics. The iOS mobile app he created is now offered on the App Store for others to access.
