Three Contests to Recognize Grit, Accomplishment, and Entrepreneurial Skills

That's why we're thrilled to offer three student contests that offer opportunities for students to showcase how they've grown and what they've achieved this year. 

INCubatoredu National Pitch Competition

INCubatoredu students teams from around the world submit to compete atpitch National Student Pitch.  All have in common a passion for their startups and a drive to take their businesses to the next level. INCubatoredu teachers nominate teams each year, and five lucky startups compete in Chicago on July 10 for a chance to win.  Real investors judge these start-ups, and real money is awarded. Build Your Own App Contest from MobileMakersEdu

mme-showcaseIs there an app for that?  If not, you might see it at the 'The Build Your App Contest.'  This competition is designed to inspire creativity and innovation in the world of mobile app development. It is a chance for MobileMakersEdu students to create their own unique and functional app that can be used in everyday life. The apps that are submitted are judged by real developers, and students benefit from robust feedback from these developers.  The judges select the standouts, and the top entries are awarded cash prizes!  Here's more on this contest.

GritGrant Award Honors Character

Grit and character are attributes that are foundational for success, yetGrit-grant-stanley-winner often overlooked. The McKenzie Foundation founded GritGrants™️, cash awards recognizing students who overcome adversity to reach their goals. The award winners are spotlighted for their grit, and how they inspire others not to quit, no matter the difficulty. This award is open to high school students enrolled in Uncharted Learning programs, and teachers nominate these future leaders—more here.

Beyond Test Scores and Gradebooks...

...Students are setting high standards for themselves, driving their own learning, achieving their goals, and more. These contests are just a few ways to shine the light on that progress.
